April Stewart is a seasoned, community volunteer in Las Vegas for over 25 years as she strongly believes in the positive benefits of volunteerism as giving back pays it forward for future generations. April’s organization involvement includes serving in leadership positions with local chapters of Clark County Medical Association Alliance, Daughters of the American Revolution, P. E. O. International, National Charity League Las Vegas, UNLV School of Public Health Alumni Board, Junior League of Las Vegas, American Lung Association of Las Vegas, and the Southern Nevada Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumni Association. She also was a passionate parent volunteer at Faith Lutheran High School in the Crusader Knight annual dinner and the Conservatory of the Arts.
April holds degrees in BA in Communications and a M Ed Health Education both from UNLV. She is married to Dr. Paul Stewart, M. D. and they have two grown beautiful daughters. She loves reading, travel, and cheering for the Vegas Golden Knights. She is honored to serve as a Commissioner with Nevada Volunteers.
